The world of wrestling is at a fever pitch right now. With WWE’s WrestleMania 29 just less than 48 hours away everyone is sitting tight in and around the New York and New Jersey area.
For those not following the world of wrestling you must know that this WrestleMania season is unlike any other in the past. With that nearly every other wrestling company in the world and wrestler either performing or signing autographs in and around the area.
That’s even including a spotting of former WWE, WCW and nWo member Virgil selling autographs in a New York Subway station.
Now the actual timing of this photo is in question. The truth of this weekends events are not.
Outside of WWE there is a bunch of other companies such as Impact Wrestling, Pro Wrestling Syndicate, Evolve, Ring Of Honor, Combat Zone Wrestling, Shimmer, Kaiju Big Battel, Chikara, Dragon Gate USA, and even $5 Dollar Wrestling are all showcasing their stars and talent and holding shows.
There’s even a WrestleCon event in which a laundry list of wrestling legends are selling autographs, photo ops and in some cases themselves.
Stars such as Hulk Hogan, Ultimate Warrior, Rob Van Dam, Kurt Angle, Lita just to name a few of the top stars. The list goes on and on and on. From even the smaller lesser known stars such as the Mean Street Posse and even T.L. Hooper. With a few who were originally booked backing out for whatever reason these include Honky Tonk Man and Stevie Richards.
Wait you don’t know who T.L. Hooper is? Don’t worry. I too had completely forgotten or didn’t care. I had to search for who he was. I guess he had a plumber gimmick. He never actually wrestled but had a brief stint in WWE back in the summer of 1996.
