Tonight is the night. As they say in the big time commercials. It’s the night in which WWE will finally allow us to see Sting wrestle for them, a second time. It’s their annual night in which every title is put on the line. Which heck I thought that’s what major companies do any ways when they run a pay-per-view. It’s their NIGHT OF CHAMPIONS!!!

Everyone in the world is so psyched up for another broken heart delivered from the boys that run WWE. Wait, that’s just my overall feeling the event will deliver? I guess. But I know I’m not alone.

The main story line going into this show is that Seth Rollins has to wrestle not once, but twice! Already having won the WWE World Heavyweight Championship when he cashed in his Money In The Bank briefcase at WrestleMania. And recently defeating John Cena for the WWE United States Championship.

In the way for Rollins retaining is not only Cena, but he must also defeat Sting. Yes, the Icon Sting! Who is getting his first ever WWE World Heavyweight Championship shot! I mean he deserves it for his great list of wrestling history. But in the world of WWE, does he?

I mean after all he lost to Triple H at WrestleMania.

So how would you get a title match in your second ever match? Especially after losing your first?

But that’s WWE Logic!

In another key match we have two thirds of the group formerly known as The Shield going off against the new Wyatt Family. Those members being Dean Ambrose and Roman Reigns versus the likes of Bray Wyatt, Luke Harper and Braun Strowman.

This match has been building big time with the speculation of who will be the third member of the former Shield group. The common logic would be Erik Rowan because he’s a former Wyatt disiple, but he’s still injured and we probably won’t see that. Other jokes going around is that it’ll be Roman Reigns real life brother Rosey, who used to be in the WWE.

But my thought is that it’ll be the greatest mystery third partner of all time. Oh yeah, you don’t know!? It’s gotta be HULK HOGAN! Yes, the man who may be banned from WWE because of a six letter word. Yet in wrestling history there has never been a bigger mystery partner than Hulk Hogan. Who in 1996 dropped a leg drop heard round the world and joined the New World Order.

I know that won’t happen. But hey, we all have hopes right?

We will also see the return of the Dudley Boyz. What… Wait…. Yes! Or something like that. The Dudleys recently returned to the WWE and challenged the New Day. The tag team that went from the biggest disappointment to the best thing going on in WWE. Which will surely be destroyed by the likes of Kevin Dunn.

This New Day group was getting demolished by the WWE universe until they were allowed to do what ever they please. And that includes a trombone being played by Xavier Woods. But the fans have since stopped chanting “New Day Sucks” because they suck, but because hell it’s fun to do now.

Remembering this is a pay-per-view and that WWE does stupid things, they’re having Dolph Ziggler versus Rusev in a Soap Opera Death Match. Okay, maybe they’re not actually having that stipulation. But it would make this match oh, so much better. After injuries and turns and ugh, what are they doing and who are they trying to get to enjoy this… ugh… I just don’t know what’s going on here.

But going back to the fact that this is a pay-per-view in which every title will be defended we will see Ryback put up his Intercontinental title against that Kevin Steen look-a-like Kevin Owens. As a Steen fan I’d love to see Owens win, but we will all be disappointed again.

So who will win? Who will lose? Let’s go ahead and pick the winners!
