In continuing this 20 Days Of Chill Writing Challenge, I have been participating and it’s now time for a new post. As you may remember last Monday I started this challenge and have now completed 6 days worth of the challenge and you can read them both by checking out 20 Days Of Chill.
Today is a new day and a new challenge and today’s theme is:
It’s January and today’s theme is summer rain. Oh yeah, that’s a great idea!
Seriously though I take today’s theme as a pause in the day to refresh it. Like summer rain is usually something that occurs during a hot summer day during the day because the atmosphere and all those random weather words happen. It only lasts a few minutes or so and it just comes down so quickly. It usually cools down the weather and makes things more bearable to be outside.
Seeing as it’s January, I think we would all love to feel a summer rain. But it’s winter, and I’m going to translate this to almost like a nap during the day. Something that I’m quite used to especially seeing I work over nights. But taking a nap during the day is the best.
It’s just taking a break from your day and giving yourself a reset. Because sometimes you just need that reset. Either it be a day that’s not going right for you or you just didn’t get enough sleep the night before.
So I guess today’s theme has nothing to do with summer or rain in my mind, but more or less a reset button during the day.
