During one of the small adventures I was enjoying, we were trying to find our way back from nowhere. And suddenly this ten foot creature appeared.

The World’s Largest Garden Gnome!

It caused me to slam on the breaks and turn the car to the side of the road and snap a picture of it.

Why is it there? Is someone a little way too addicted to Garden Gnomes?

But for this instance it’s part of Kelder’s Farm in Kerhonkson, which is in Ulster County. The farm is a 100 acres large with apples, raspberries and grapes. Plus they even have mini-golf. All of this was well closed when we drove by. One of those great things about the state of New York during spring time. Some days it’s nice enough to enjoy outside, yet nothing opens for another month or so.

Maybe in the warmer months I’ll get back there. Or maybe I’ll be able to find more of the world’s largest!
