Well today’s the big day – July 25th. Which for those wanting to celebrate Christmas in July should and would. And guess who did?

Yup this guy!

I would like to introduce my six ever motor vehicle into my life. It’s a 2016 Kia Optima and compared to my first ever car, well, I’ve come a long way baby.

For those who are new to the world of Hachland and don’t know my history of vehicles well you’re in for a surprise.

My first ever vehicle, outside of the vehicles my parents drove, was a 1987 GMC Vandura. For those not familiar with what type of vehicle that is or well was because they don’t make it anymore it’s basically a van. A van with no windows and usually used for those in the construction industry like plumbers or in this instance electricians. As it was a former electricians vehicle. It was a nice vehicle that made my senior year of high school pretty fun. I mean what kind of high school senior wouldn’t want a big brown van?

My second vehicle didn’t last too long and that was a 1990 Oldsmobile Cutlas Supreme. It only lasted a few weeks and then I traded that in for my 1999 Ford Escort.

My silver Escort was one of my favorite cars and while it helped me through most of my 20s I ended up trading that in for a fellow Ford, a black 2005 Ford Escape. Which saw me have my first built in CD player something that I really not only wanted but needed because of the abundance of wires I had to deal with coming through the cigarette lighter plug.

The Escape brought luxury to my driving experience with leather seats, sunroof and that all wheel drive was pretty nice. That car saw me through that fun transitional period in my life in which I lived in a bunch of numerous places. Which helped to move things from one place to another.

Fast forward to 2013, when I got my first ever brand new vehicle, a 2013 Kia Sportage. While it was great to get a new car it was a little tough because it’d bethe first one that my mom wouldn’t get to see. Yet I know she’d be proud that I could be able to afford such a toy. Also it would have been pretty cool to tell and show my grandfather, Da, my new car. Especially telling him about the car dealership I bought it from. Yup got it from that huge guy Billy Fuccillo. Who actually showed up at that particular dealership during my epic bargaining debate. He was wearing a suit too.

And now… drum roll please let me introduce you to my sixth car! A car who’s picture you have already seen and a car that is white and yes it’s new. It’s a 2016 Kia Optima with bells and whistles and it’s mine!
